I am a mother, a thirst quenching knowledge seeker, Jack (or Jill) of all trades. My photography embodies sophistication and elegance. One thing my images have in common is that they are fully thought out from the snap to the light room. I enjoy editing because I am a stickler for the details. I can accommodate your hearts delight. Soft and whimsical romance, nostalgic childhood to vibrant Intimate intrigue, I do it all in style.

I was born in a refugee camp In Thailand, a daughter to hardworking Laotian immigrants. I'm a first generation college graduate of SUNY Brockport. That is how I learned to be a thinker.

When I was growing up, we didn't own a camera. My mother worked and sacrificed to give my siblings and I a life that didn't include bombs and gunfire. So whenever I had the opportunity, I made sure all 24 exposures on a disposable KODAK camera mean something. That is how I learned to compose.

My children are my world. My role as a mother is something I am truly grateful for. I am able to see life with wonder and delight. I have been a stay at home mom for years and it is through them I have learned that moments are fleeting and that time can only stand still in pictures and video. Life goes by so fast and that is how I learned to recognize the sentiments.

I have wanderlust. I love to get away often. I am always captivated by new places and experiences. Living in three different countries, from city centers, countryside, beachside I have lived three different types of lifestyles where most can only be destined for one. I see a world that exists whether I am there or not. One person's ordinary can be extraordinary to another. That is how I gained perspective.
Family-
Motherhood is a very funny thing. You dive right into it without an instruction manual. You begin to navigate these little souls by pure trial and error and a lot of coffee and occasional wine. Through time you get into a rhythm and with each addition you level up. This has been my journey with my career in photography. My kids have seen mom at home cooking meals and helping with homework and they have seen me sitting at my desk for hours mastering my craft through trial, error and determination. I have nurtured my career just as I have nurtured my children with time, patience, and grace. I hope they are proud of me and thank them for their sacrifice.
